Sordoni was selected as Construction Manager to renovate and upgrade all of the existing amenities and common areas at the luxurious Capitol at Chelsea building located at 26th and 6th in the heart of NYC.
This extensive phased renovation includes the construction of a new and modern rooftop garden, first floor entrance lobby, multiple community lounges, fitness center and leasing office as well as the renovation of all residential corridors and the comprehensive modernization of all existing residential elevator cabs and systems.
Sordoni services include preconstruction and construction management services.

BEDMINSTER, N.J. – May 1, 2017 – Sordoni Construction Co. (“Sordoni”) is pleased to announce its very successful 2017 Sticks & Bricks Fundraiser has raised $75,000 in support of Chilton Medical Center Foundation (“Chilton”). Sordoni’s partnership with Chilton has raised a cumulative total of over $150,000, which supports the capital needs of Atlantic Health Systems, Chilton Medical Center and its family of affiliates.
“Supporting local organizations like Chilton Medical Center Foundation, which greatly improve the lives of others and are backbones of our community, is something that is at the core of our founding and operating principles,” said Matthew T. Lorenzo, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sordoni Construction Co. “Through our philanthropic initiatives we feel we can build a stronger sense of awareness and appreciation for the incredible work organizations like Chilton are doing in our own community.”
The 2017 Sticks & Bricks Fundraiser took place this past February, and brought together friends, co-workers, clients and community leaders in an evening full of entertainment, music and fun. The proceeds raised will help Chilton purchase new state-of-the art equipment, make additional renovations to its facilities and fund upcoming initiatives.

Construction continues at this thirteen-level, 700,000 SF residential building consisting of 278 high-end condo units, owned by K Hovnanian Homes. The exterior façade is underway, consisting of precast panels, metal panels, architectural brick, and windows. With the sales center nearly complete, unit sales can soon transition into what will become the most beautiful building on the strip!

Hired by Regency Centers to construct 217,000 sf of new retail space distributed within 4 separate pads. Notable retailers include Whole Foods, The Container Store, Saks Off 5th, Nordstrom Rack, Ulta, & Cost Plus World Market.
Phase 1 is scheduled for completion the end of 2017 and as you can see, we are well on our way!

Sordoni begins construction of the QB38 Tower for Curbcut Urban Partners LLC & Platinum Realty Associates. QB38 is a mixed use, 8 story commercial development fronting on Queens Blvd between 38th Street and 39th Street in the heart of Long Island City, NY. Prospective tenants include a national movie theater chain and community facility space suitable for medical, educational and nonprofit uses. The project is scheduled for completion in late 2018.

Sordoni Construction Co. celebrated the topping off of Building E at Port Imperial North in West New York, NJ. Excavation for the 13 story, 700,000 sf cast in place concrete building started just 12 months ago. In that time, 50,000 tons of soil were excavated and trucked off site and 40,000 cubic yards of concrete were placed. The celebration included speeches from the developer and the Commissioners of West New York, along with a Thanksgiving lunch for the workers. The building will have 278 luxury condominiums with breathtaking views of the New York City skyline.
