Sordoni Construction Co. was responsible for the reconstruction and improvements to Fordham’s Varsity Softball field. This involved the construction of two new concrete and stone dugouts, a new grandstand, press box and a new restroom building. The architecture included stone and brick with cultured stone in a gothic-style to accentuate the Fordham campus.
In addition, Sordoni was responsible for coordinating efforts to upgrade the audio systems in the auditorium within Fordham’s centerpiece building. Attention to detail was of utmost importance throughout the demolition and construction phase in order to eliminate disturbance to the existing historic structure.
