Sordoni Construction managed the redevelopment of 7 acres of an existing retail center in Garfield, NJ. Scope of work included a new ground up Burlington Coat Factory, Petsmart, and 2 in-line tenant buildings.
Sitework was also conducted by providing new utilities to all four buildings as well as tying together the existing sidewalks on the project site. This included an outdoor pergola, seating area, and the fit-out scope for several buildings.
The site was under the supervision of an LSRP and coordinated efforts were made to address certain concerns. These concerns were to maintain areas where a clean cap was present, proper removal and disposal of all contaminated soils, and installation of the Liquid Boot vapor barrier system under all new buildings.
