PSE&G – Hoboken

The project consisted of new GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) building constructed alongside an operational sub-station and light rail train track. Building construction included a preengineered and pre-manufactured building that was fabricated off site then shipped and assembled on the new foundation. The new foundation for the building is 12’ above grade in order to prevent flood damage. The building contains a 5-ton 80’ bridge crane within the structure that was used to install and service the GIS equipment
