Mr. Michael Healy is the Chairman of the Board of Sordoni Construction Co. (SCC). With well forty years of experience, Mr. Healy has held virtually every position in the construction industry from Project Engineer to President/CEO. He has also worked on the full gamut of projects ranging from renovations to huge mega-projects across the country and across every business sector.

Beyond being a very seasoned construction expert, Mr. Healy is an industry recognized business leader. During his nine-year tenure as President, CEO and Chairman of Sordoni Skanska (and subsequently Skanska USA Building), Mr. Healy developed what was a small local business into the second largest building construction company in the United States.

Mr. Healy, rejoined SCC in 2005 as President and CEO, and once again history repeated itself. Under his leadership SCC has experienced significant sustainable growth and success and has retaken its position as a prominent industry leader.

Mr. Healy has also served as the Chairman of the Independent College Fund of NJ, and as a board member for Patriot’s Path Council of the Boys Scouts of America Advisory Board and the Waterloo Village for the Performing Arts. In 2009 Mr. Healy was honored as the recipient of the Distinguished Eagle Scout Award from the Boys Scouts of America.

Mr. Healy holds a Master’s of Science in Civil Engineering from New Jersey Institute of Technology, and is a retired Licensed Professional Engineer in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania.
