Sordoni Construction Co. has been awarded to manage multiple projects at the American Dream Mall, located in East Rutherford, New Jersey. As a result, Sordoni managed yet another project at the mall that consisted of a tenant fit-out on a 25,000 sf space conversion into a Best Buy store. The store is composed of a sales floor, Geek Squad repair room, technology lounge, Home Audio Studio, breakroom, offices, along with a telecom and cash room.
Construction consisted of a storefront remodel complete with custom Best Buy Blue Break Metal and the installation of large floor to ceiling windows. New additions included a secondary entrance with a roll down gate, a specialized tech lounge area with sound baffles, and specialized concrete stencil floor finishing. Installations of a concrete “Raceway” around carpeting, a Terramai wood plank finish on the interior walls, and over 200 LED light fixtures also took place. The store ceiling is open and completed with painted ductwork.
