Sordoni Construction Co. managed the tenant fit-out and new construction of an existing warehouse facility with an exterior loading area. At about 207,500 sf, this warehouse was converted into a packaging distribution center located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
In addition, the scope of work included exterior renovations on the building’s shell with a new 40,000 sf structural steel loading canopy and installations of all new MEPs throughout the warehouse. Interior alterations included new finishes, restroom facilities, open offices, a company break room, open office areas, and conference rooms.
Offices and the overall building received new paint, epoxy flooring, and carpeting. Construction also consisted of excavation and relocation of underground existing storm water lines, new parking areas, sidewalk, striping, and exterior canopy column footings. New air handling units, fans, and security systems were installed as well.
