Sordoni Construction Co. was selected as the Construction Manager for the renovation of an existing 253,000 sf warehouse located in Upper Marlboro, Maryland. The purpose for the alterations was to convert the warehouse into a new package distribution center.
Renovations included demolition of all the old rack shelving, equipment, and insulated panel walls inside the warehouse resulting in a clean shell to work with. Scope of work included all new electrical distribution equipment, new HVAC system, and various other improvements. At the request of the Owner, this renovation was split into two phases consisting of the interior demolition and fit-out and exterior site improvements.
